PURPOSE: A device for working glass is provided to impart a cutting line parallel to the side edge of a glass sheet or to perform the beveling of the side edge of the glass sheet in precisely parallel with the side edge. CONSTITUTION: A device for working glass comprises a running body(1) guided in the front and rear directions by a guide unit(2) and allowed to run in the front and rear directions by a traveling unit(3); a holding table(11) for holding a supplied glass sheet(A), which is turnably provided above the running body through a turning drive device(10); a pair of cameras(P1,P2) provided to make the positions controlled in the front and right-and-left directions of the running path of the holding table; and a beveling-working unit for cutting the glass sheet with a cutter arranged at the front of the cameras or chamfering the glass sheet with a grindstone. In the device for working the glass, the working by the beveling-working unit is read with the cameras, and the displacement amount in the working is interlocked so that the turning of the holding table by the operation of the turning drive device are performed.
