PURPOSE: A miss convergence correction apparatus for a deflection yoke is provided to control an upper YV and a lower YV respectively by adding a variable resistor to an YV control volume. CONSTITUTION: A miss convergence correction apparatus for a deflection yoke comprises a vertical deflection coil, a first variable resistor, a first resistor, a second resistor, a first diode, a second diode, a third diode, a fourth diode, a second variable resistor, a first YV variable resistor, and a second YV variable resistor. The first variable resistor is disposed between the connection point of the first resistor and the first variable resistor and an anode terminal of the first diode in order to control an YV deflection. The second YV variable resistor is disposed between the connection point of the second resistor and the first variable resistor and an anode terminal of the second diode in order to control an YV deflection.
