FIELD: plastic metal working; cold stamping; drawing by elastic medium; manufacture of parts from flat blanks. SUBSTANCE: drawing is performed by means of elastic punch into rigid die. At first pass, elastic insert is placed in recess of die which is difficult-to-access for flow of metal; this elastic insert has shape in plan similar to shape of recess of die at height not exceeding 1.5 of depth of cavity being molded.
