<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote efficiency of data writing in many memory cards. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of connection sections (4) are arranged in parallel in a socket holder (3), and terminals (5, 6) of each connection section are connected to the external terminals (2) of the memory cards (MC1-MC30) respectively. In a MMC mode of a multimedia card, command terminals CMD to execute open drain output are connected to wiring (L1(01)-L1(30)) for each memory card. Accordingly, the wiring certainly agrees with the open drain output of the corresponding memory card, which makes all the memory cards transit to an identification state in parallel. This enables the same address to be set to all the memory cards. The memory cards operated in the MMC mode are selected in a batch, and made writable thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
