PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a sound source for a vehicle is provided to analyze the absolute intensity and distribution of sound or noise in a quantitative manner, while accurately detecting the position of the noise source. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a vehicle(10); an acoustic mirror(20) mounted at a predetermined position for measuring a sound source of the vehicle and formed into a semi-spherical shape with a predetermined curvature so as to serve as a reflector plate, and the acoustic mirror having a receiving sensitivity which differs in accordance with the position of the noise source of the vehicle; a microphone device(30) including a microphone which serves as a sound receiver of the acoustic mirror is mounted in front of the acoustic mirror together with a position varying unit, and the microphone device receives noises of the vehicle; and a laser beam generator(40) mounted on the acoustic mirror and which scans laser beams to the vehicle.
