<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the change of luminance unevenness with time by constituting a support member (pin) which is not bent with its weight even if a transmission diffusing plate which is an illumination surface of a backlight device is large. <P>SOLUTION: A conical or polygonal pyramidal pin (support member) 7 is erected separately from or integrally with a bottom part 1b of a case 1 used as a lamp house or a reflecting plate 2 arranged on the bottom part 1b.
