<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vehicle capable of extending lifetime of a conveying belt and improving fuel consumption while the conveying belt is prevented from slipping. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 1 sets an effective diameter PDRD of a drive pulley 22 and a driven pulley 23 of a continuously variable transmission 20, and working oil pressure DROIL and DNOIL for changing PDND. The controller 1 also sets clutch transmitting torque PCCMDL to be transmitted by the clutch 30, and detects a changed amount DTH of output torque output from an internal combustion engine 4. When the changed amount DTH of the output torque is larger than predetermined values YDTHTQP and YDTHTQM, clutch transmitting torque PCCMDL is reduced so as to slide the clutch 30, and the working oil pressure DROIL and DNOIL are set to be larger while the clutch transmitting torque PCCMDL is larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
