PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint assured of a water shut off function which is stable and manufactured at a low cost.

SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 comprises a connection part 1a for connecting the end of a pipe body 2, and holds a water expansion part 4 that expands by absorbing water content on the outer layer side of the connection part 1a that faces the pipe body 2. A holding interposing part 5 which is welded at molding of the connection part 1a to be integrated with the connection part 1a is provided on the inner layer side than the water expansion part 4.
