PURPOSE: A scroll compressor for noise reduction is provided to reduce the noise of refrigerant by a noise damping part provided to either of a compression chamber or a discharge port. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor for noise reduction includes a fixed scroll(51), an orbiting scroll(41), and a noise damping part(61) formed to a compression chamber defined by the fixed and orbiting scrolls or a discharge hole of the fixed scroll. The noise damping part is to be a resonator, which includes a neck part(62a) indented by a predetermined degree in a refrigerant discharge direction at a side of the discharge hole, and a space part(62b) communicated with the neck part and having a variable flow sectional area.
