<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control panel for an elevator capable of easily cooling a heat generating control apparatus equipped inside without increasing size. <P>SOLUTION: On this control panel for the elevator, an opening part 2 is provided on a front face of a rear unit 1 equipped with a control apparatus 4 inside, and an opening part 7 on a rear face of a front unit 5 equipped with at least the heat generating control apparatus 6 is arranged opposing to the opening part 2 of the rear unit 1. The rear unit 1 and and the front unit 5 are separably fitted to each other. On this control panel, a ventilating means 11 mutually communicated with ventilating holes 3, 9 of the rear unit 1 and the front unit 5 and forming a cooling air flow inside the rear unit 1 and the front unit 5 is provided. Accordingly, maintenance work is performed by separating the rear unit 1 and the front unit 5, and work efficiency is improved. The exothermic control apparatus 6 can be easily cooled by the ventilating means 11 without increasing the size of the control panel.
