<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft for a golf club lightweight for a slow-swing user, improving stability in a golf ball hitting direction and prevented from undergoing plastic deformation. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft for the golf club comprises a laminated body consisting of fiber reinforced plastic layers with a weight of not more than 70 g, wherein a minimum value of flexural rigidity lies in the range of 200-500 mm from the end of the shaft and is in the range of at least 7 N×m<SP>2</SP>and not more than 15 N×m<SP>2</SP>and a torque value is 2.5-4.5°. The shaft has a flexural rigidity of at least 15 N×m<SP>2</SP>and not more than 30 N×m<SP>2</SP>in the range of 50-150 mm from the end of the shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
