<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control system for a vehicle, an information center, an onboard machine and a travel control method for the vehicle, allowing improvement of accuracy of a target travel line in automatic steering. <P>SOLUTION: This travel control system for the vehicle is a system for performing automatic steering control of the vehicle on the basis of traveling information about the vehicle, and has the information center 3 and the onboard machine. The information center 3 receives the traveling information from a plurality of vehicles, and produces recommendation traveling information on the center side on the basis of the plurality of pieces of received traveling information. The information center 3 transmits the recommendation traveling information to the onboard machine mounted in the vehicle.
