<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of advertisements following a mouse pointer on a screen without applying any load to a computer while a user carries out operation by another application. <P>SOLUTION: This information notification system has a server device connected to a terminal device via a communication network to distribute notification information to the terminal device 2. The server device is provided with a means storing icon information and the notification information in association with a notification object and a means transmitting the icon information and the notification information to the terminal device. The terminal device is provided with a means acquiring the icon information and the notification information sent from the server device, a means acquiring the position of the mouse pointer, a means displaying an icon in an area around the mouse pointer and simultaneously indicating the notification information in scroll form, a means detecting a speed of reciprocating movement of the mouse pointer, and a means switching the displayed notification information in succession according to the detected speed of the reciprocating movement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
