PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ignition performance by securing accuracy of relative position between a combustion plate and an ignition electrode, in a grill having a grill burner 3 arranged on the top plate 21 of a grill housing 2; where the grill burner includes a burner body 31 and the combustion plate 32 which is made of a metallic plate having a number of burner holes 32a covering the lower face of the burner body; where the ignition electrode 5 is installed whose tip end 5a is situated under a prescribed part of the combustion plate; and where the grill burner is ignited by spark discharge between the ignition electrode and the prescribed part of the combustion plate.SOLUTION: An ignition electrode 5 is fixed in an installation bracket 7 on the outer part of a grill housing 2 which is fixed to a burner body 31. A tip end 5a of the ignition electrode 5 is inserted into the grill housing 2 via a through hole 21c formed in a stepped part 21b which is bent downward from the periphery of a burner opening 21a in a top plate 21, and the tip end of the ignition electrode is situated under the prescribed part of a combustion plate 32. |
