<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform more exact priority control by eliminating Priority Inversion in queues in priority control in an Ethernet system. <P>SOLUTION: A frame having arrived at an input queue other than a specific queue is subjected to S&F type transfer control for temporarily accumulating the entire frame and then output the frame. For a frame having arrived at the specific queue, when storage of the frame starts or is completed, the output of frame from the other input queue is immediately stopped when a frame is being outputted from another input queue other than the specific input queue, a control code indicating frame interruption is added before and after a frame having arrived at the specific input queue to output a frame, and the transfer of frame of the other input queue whose output is interrupted is resumed upon completion of sending out the corresponding frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
