LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus which can prevent leaking of light due to slipping of a columnar spacer.

SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a thin film transistor display plate 100 having a first portion and a second portion lower than the first portion, a counter display plate 200, a columnar spacer 320 and a liquid crystal layer 3. The columnar spacer 320 is placed in a relatively low and flat portion (second portion) than other portions on the thin film transistor display plate 100. The contact part of the columnar spacer 320 slips by pressure or impact added to the display plates 100, 200 and then easily returns to the original position to restore.
