<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance commercial value of a product by blocking undesirable light transmitted from vertical light emitting diodes to a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: A body of an auxiliary light 320 comprises an upper lid 322 and a lower lid 324 which is joined with that. Around a light transmitting window 328 of the lower lid 324, a lightproof cylinder 329, united to the lower lid 324, covering around the vertical LED 350 is formed to block lateral light emitted from the vertical LED 350. This reduces possibility of the light from the vertical LED 350 projecting a notch 369 and reaching an extended part 362. The upper lid 322 is joined with the lower lid 324 through the light guide plate 360 and the lower lid 324 is assigned with the light guide plate 360 in this process. A vertical housing case 365 and the lightproof cylinder 329 work as positioning devices at that time and in the manner of putting the lightproof cylinder 329 into the vertical housing case 365, the positioning is performed, then, the lightproof cylinder 329 works as a light shielding and positioning device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
