The method involves implementing a permutation over a subset of instructions within an application program to obtain a permutated cycle of instructions before execution of the application program on computer system (10). A permutation sequence number of permutated cycle of instructions is stored in a permutated reference indicator table. The cycle of instructions is implemented in an execution module and is decoded into an actual machine code of a processor in computer system according to permutation sequence number of cycle of instructions, which is stored in reference indicator table. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer usable medium with a computer program product (2) a computer system.
