A coating composition for protecting a solar cell module is provided to ensure excellent durability and weatherability when used for a long term and to increase light transmission and the maximum output amount of a module. A method for manufacturing a coating composition for protecting a solar cell module comprises the steps of: hydrolyzing a titanium compound with water and adding alcohol and acid to grow crystals by hydrothermal reaction; mixing the titanium compound, organic solvent and water and improving dispersibility through hydrolysis reaction which adds acid after heating; mixing each compounds obtained through hydrothermal reaction and hydrolysis reaction to obtain photocatalytic sol; synthesizing a water-soluble silicate binder compound by hydrolyzing a silicate compound with an excess of water; and mixing the photocatalytic sol obtained through hydrothermal reaction and hydrolysis reaction, water soluble binder compound and alcohol. |
