Plastic bag closure design - using stud and hole engagements across the mouth of the bag

For bags made of plastic sheet where the edges of the sheet at the mouth of the bag carry a reinforcing strip incorporating integral handles and studs and holes to hold the mouth of the bag closed. Pref. bags which unfold to offer a rectangular section mouth feacture additional reinforced holes on the side walls which align. with studs fastening the faces of the bag together when the bag is closed. Device keeps the bag closed and also transmits the lifting forces across the mouth of the bag.
