1397938 Combine stone traps B C MATHEWS 3 Oct 1972 [4 Oct 1971 13 Dec 1971 10 April 1972] 45608/72 Heading A1F The trap comprises a tray 20 supported for transverse sliding movement with respect to the combine by tubes 28, 30, the former being fixed to the feeder and the latter to the concave. The tray is reached through an access door in the casing and its mounting is such as to allow of adjustment of the concave by cam 13. When no trap is required the tray can be inverted as shown in Figure 3 to form a guide between the feeder and thresher. Also in Figure 3 the front support is secured to the casing rather than the feeder to allow for adjustment of the feeder. The tray is strengthened by ribs 24 and a projection 47 depending from the feeder stops stones falling out of the tray. |
