A rotating current tap has a plurality of contact-rings and corresponding brushes. The contact-rings are clamped between separating members. The contact-rings are centered and torsionally retained prior to clamping by abutting elastic yielding members. Additional contact-rings may be added by attachment to tie rods. The brushes have resilient forks for engaging with the contact-rings.
