The present disclosure relates to a playback control method and apparatus, and an electronic device, said method comprising: obtaining a video file; determining whether the recorded subject in said video file satisfies predefined variable-speed playback conditions; if so, then playing back said video file at variable speed. By means of the technical solution of the present disclosure, a recorded video file may be properly played back at variable speed, thus helping to improve the viewing experience of a user when observing a recorded subject. |
