The connector is particularly for joining the components of window-and door frames, and consists of a section of square tube secured on one side by two or more screws to the side of one profile section. The other section profile section is fitted over the connector, has two bores in line with each other and the opening of the connector, in which a round bar is inserted. In the ends of this bar are oblique tapped holes, into which grubscrews fit, bearing against the inside of the connector furthest from the first profile section.
