<p>Power operated portable cutting secateurs are carried on the back and uses any suitable hydraulic power supply. The hydraulic motor (T) and speed reduction box (R) are fed through flexible tubes (B, N, A) and drive two discs (D, D1) linked by springs (Rc) which store energy and improve the cutting action. When the trigger (Z) on the handle (M) is closed, a cable (C) operates a valve (V) and the motor. A cable (C1) attached to one end (F) of a lever (E) on the discs is pulled and operates the moving jaw (Sm) of the secateur (S) through a spring (Rs) loaded lever (Ls). The return cable (C2) is attached to the other end (F1) of the disc mounted lever (E).</p> |
