Soaps specified are calcium, barium and sodium stearate. Lignin compounds specified are lignin, thiolignin and thiolignin sulphonates. Surfactants specified are fatty acid amines, quaternary ammonium salts, polyglycols and ethers and esters thereof, sodium alkyl sulphonates and alkyl phosphoric esters. Optional additives include polymeric material, e.g. polyesters, melamine resins, acrylic resins, polyvinyl resins, polyamide resins, cellulosic resins and rubber latices; amine, ammonium and alkali metal salts of fatty acids, phosphates and boartes; and mica. The composition may be applied to the metal surface to be worked as an aqueous solution or dispersion which is subsequently dried.</p> |
