1452042 Dispersing agents BAYER AG 17 Feb 1975 [18 Feb 1974 4 March 1974] 6587/75 Heading C3R [Also in Division D1] Dispersing agents having the general formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> is an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radical, n is an integer from 1-6, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP> and R<SP>5</SP> are H, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl or chloro-methyl, X is 0-100 and y 0-50, and R<SP>6</SP> is -O-aryl, -O-aralkyl, -O-alkaryl, -O-CO-alkyl, -O-CO-aryl, -NHCI-alkyl, with the proviso that x and y cannot simultaneously be zero unless R<SP>6</SP> is -O-alkyl or -O- alkaryl are used to prepare dyestuff preparations. The compounds are prepared (cf Examples 1-6) by reacting a mono-, di- or polyisocyanate with a mono-, di- or poly-ol. The isocyanate used may be mashed and the product may contain an isocyanate group in R 1 .
