The identification bracelet consists of a band (3) on which there is a double wall zone. The upper wall of this zone is transparent so as to permit reading os a label which is placed within the zone. At an end of the zone is a narrower strip (1) which is pierced with holes (2) so as to enable the bracelet to be adapted to different sizes of infants wrists. At the other end of the label zone are two tabs (4, 6) one of which (6) carries a stud (7) and the other a hole (5). When the bracelet is applied to the wrist the hole (2) in the narrow strap is aligned with the hole (5) in the tab (4). The stud (7) is then bent over and pressed so as to engage into the hole in the strap (1) and tab (4).
