<p>1507852 Laminated lids MEDI-DOSE Inc 20 Feb 1975 [11 April 1974] 7223/75 Heading B8C A cover for a tray of compartments which may be broken away one from another comprises a cover sheet 1 secured by adhesive 2 to a liner sheet 3, the cover sheet having lines of weakening 6 to define a lid portion 7 for each compartment, the liner sheet having lines of weakening to define a liner part 8 located within the periphery of each portion 7, the lines of weakening extending through the thickness of the respective sheet only and having been formed by die cutting. The liner sheet is unpeeled from the cover sheet leaving the liner parts 8 secured to the cover sheet which is then secured to the tray by means of the adhesive 2. Unpeeling is assisted by an edge of the cover sheet having a tear off portion 4. The lines of weakening are formed by die cuts. The tray may have apertures at certain intersections of adjacent compartments with adhesive being omitted along certain lines 9 of the lines of weakening to provide pull tabs for each cover of a separated compartment. The tray may comprise just a row of compartments with adhesive being omitted between the two sheets along a longitudinal edge of the tray.</p> |
