Anti blocking dual circuit air brake - with large diameter venting duct by having modulating valve directly on brake cylinder

The anti-blocking air brake has a modulating valve whose valve block (5) is directly connected to the wheel brake cylinder. The block contains an inlet control valve as well as a venting valve. The venting valve has a cross-sectional area (20) larger than the inlet valve port to provide rapid venting. The valve venting path is considerably reduced, with the outlet port (11) directly beside the venting valve seat. This allows rapid response in the anti-skidding control.
