<p>The hand grenade without stick handle has impact detonator. The hand grenade fuse has a delayed arming mechanism and automatic destruction arrangement. These components are initially held by a removable safety pin. The hand grenade is automatically destroyed by combustion of a delay cartridge. The movement of the arming element (13) is guided by a piston (13a) which is guided in turn in a zig zag groove of the housing for delaying purposes. A tilting initiating lever (15) rotates about a pivot (14d). This lever carries the initiator (15b), which is thrown on impact against the pin (14f). If the initiator is not operated then the ignition delay cartridge (14a) explodes the cartridge by its burning.</p> |
