1534824 Continuous process for polyurethane foam block TECFOAM SA 8 March 1977 [24 May 1976] 09735/77 Heading C3R A continuously-formed polyurethane foam block is made by depositing the polyol/polyisocyanate reaction mixture on an endless band which conveys the band through a tunnel in which an exothermic reaction occurs, the band and tunnel side-walls being heated by means independent of the reaction to 30-110‹ C. so as to counteract compaction of the peripheral portions of the block which are in contact with the band and side-walls.
