Drilling machine for small diameter holes - has fluid-damping unit to reduce speed of advancement of drill bit

Drilling machine is designed for drilling holes less than 0.5mm in diameter and has the drill attached to one end of a centrally pivoted counter-balancing two-armed lever (6). The speed of advancement of the drill bit (27) is reduced by a fluid-damping unit (21-24) which is attached to the other end of the lever from the drilling spindle sleeve (9). The speed of advancement can be manually influenced by a push rod (26') which acts against the direction of advancement of the drill and is operated via a Bowden cable (25) by a hand key (26). The drilling machine can be lifted from the columns and supported on three adjustable feet (34) if, for example, small holes need to be drilled in workpieces of large surface area.
