Cement compsns. (I) contain 85-90 wt % Ca- or Si- contg. mineral aggregates, 10-15 wt % polymethyl methacrylate (based) resins, 2% curing agent, 0.8-1% fireproofing agent and 1-5% mineral filler, percentages being based on wt. of aggregates. Pref. they contain 0.05-1.5 wt % at least one mineral pigment prod. and 0-1 wt % lubricant, based on wt. of compsn. (I). A marble-type prod. is obtd. by incorporating 5-8 wt % of paste contg. finely powdered glass or mineral oxide, alone or mixed with finely powdered sand into compsn. (I).
