Telephone fault identification equipment - has fault detecting lines connected to monitoring circuit with teleprinter output

An electronic equipment is used to identify faults of a complex telephone system. It can collect and edit information about the system which may have crossbar selectors. The equipment is connected to devices under surveillance. Each device is connected to a take-up and counting unit by a take-up line a fault input line and a fault output line. The fault output line allows the faulty device to supply information to indentification inputs common to all devices under surveillance. Each take-up and counting unit is connected to a teleprinter drive unit. Each unit can monitor 500 points. The drive unit is connected to a teleprinter and to a paper punch.
