<p>A device for setting and indicating the power output of an inductive heating winding (22) on an electrical cooker having a transparent glass hot plate has a manually operable setting device (50) which influences an actuating element (58, 60) (which controls the energy supply to the heating winding) and is connected to an indicating device (24). A control device (54) supplies an output signal which is at the same time supplied to the actuating element and to the indicating device in order to achieve a persistent indication of the power output, prescribed by the actuating element, to the heating winding. The setting device contains two separate setting switches (50) which are connected to the input of the control device (54). Operation of one of the setting switches (50) produces a signal at the output of the control device in the sense of increasing the power, while operation of the other setting switch produces a signal in the sense of reducing the power to the heating winding. Both the heating winding and indicating device are mounted on the bottom of the glass hot plate such that the indication is easily visible from the top of the hot plate. <IMAGE></p> |
