PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a device to reproduce a sound preferred by a listener even when surrounding noise is subject to change by compensating a listening fault caused by masking of surrounding noise at reproduction of an acoustic signal. SOLUTION: A sound signal is given to a sound processing means 18 and an input output characteristic calculation means 13. An environment sound picked up by a microphone 11 is given to an environment sound measurement means 12, where a masking band is analyzed by using a band split filter. In the case of reproducing the sound signal by a listener, a specific loudness characteristic is extracted from an audible sense database 14, and a preference tone adjustment means 15 adjusts the loudness characteristic. The input output characteristic calculation means 13 calculates an input output characteristic of each frequency band to be processed to control an output characteristic of a reproduced sound. |
