The invention relates to a cassette for coiling optical fibres, including at least one plate supporting at least one outer wall having outer overhangs that surrounds one or more inner walls forming one or more coiling centres, thus defining a storage recess having a flattened and substantially annular shape. Said recess is sized so as to receive and store a plurality of loops. It has an opening in an upper surface that allows said loops to be inserted therethrough. The coiling cassette includes one or more closing elements, which are movable by entirely guided movement between at least: an open position which leaves a passage for insertion from the top, and a closed position in which each closing element forms a bridge which closes said recess. The invention relates to an apparatus including such a cassette, for example pivotably mounted on the edge of the base thereof. It also relates to a method for assembling such an apparatus, and to a cable-clamping clip inside said base. |
