发明名称 OPTICAL DISTRIBUTING CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optical distributing circuit of low losses and easy manufacture and assembling by bonding a reflecting film to one end face of a circular cylindrical optical transmission body which satisfies the specific conditions and disposing a plurality of optical fibers of the end faces parallel to this to the other end face in proximity thereto. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmission body 1 has refractive indices which make square distribution in the direction rectangular to an optical axis 4, has a length of 1/8(2m -1) pitch (m is positive integer) and assumes circular cylindrical form made of glass containing thallium ion, etc. The light entering the transmission body 1 from an optical fiber 11 advances as shown by the ray 5, is reflected by a reflecting film 2 and returns to the position of the end face 3. In this case, the transmission 1 corresponds to a length of 1/4 in both ways and therefore the light having entered in spot form emits to the end face 3 by becoming bold parallel light, but since the respective one ends of optical fibers 12 thru 29 are disposed parallel in this position in proximity, it enters these fibers by respectively dividing thereto and the distribution losses of the fibers on the circumference of the same radius become approximately equal. Hence, the optical distributing circuit of low losses and easy manufacture and assembling may be obtained.
