The backrest (4) has a structural column (14) carrying a set of support devices i.e. slats (16), for an occupant of a seat (1) i.e. cabin seat, of an aircraft. The set of support devices is distributed along the structural column, where the support devices are transversely directed with regard to each other so as to be covered on both sides of the structural column. A fixing unit (20) is arranged on the column, and is associated with each of the set of support devices. The fixing unit is arranged with a central segment (22) and a side segment (26) that swivels with regard to each other. The cabin seat is provided in the passenger compartment of the aircraft. |
