A device for conveying bulk material, for example in a grit-blasting shed or a sand-blasting booth. In a preferred embodiment, a plurality of longitudinal conveying troughs are arranged parallel to each other and recessed, in which buckets (12) are reciprocally guided by means of cables (13, 62) which are moved by a frame (16) or a crank drive (64-69). The buckets (12) are made of plastic or metal and convey the bulk material by stages to one or more transverse conveying troughs (24) in which, for example, a screw conveyor is arranged. To facilitate the exchanging of the buckets (12), they may be of two-part design or be provided with a radial slit. <IMAGE>
