Front lifting hydraulic system for tractor - consists of rams protected by vertical thrust plates

The front lifting hydraulic system is used on a tractor in which two rams (6) lift two servo arms (5) hinged on the tractor behind the ram links (30). Two vertical plates (27) are set proud of the front of the tractor and serve to support the upper mountings (24) of the rams as well as the pivots (26) of the arms. The plates protect the hydraulic line connections (21, 22) at the rear of the rams. They deflect any debris from the rams so that the front attachments can be used for construction work without danger of damaging the rams.
