<p>The instrument transfers pasty material in order to fill a hollow body, partic. that of a syringe. It comprises a cylindrical socket in which the material is placed, and whose base in extended by an axial tube open at both ends. A plunger fitting in the socket thrusts the material into the tube, and contains an axial bore accommodating a piston of corresponding dia., formed by a rod. The piston slides in the bore, and also in the tube, which is of the same internal dia, so as to expel all the pasty material in it.</p> |
