PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the stable detection of a human eye regardless of the brightness of a subject.SOLUTION: An eye detector 200 includes: an imaging section 210 where multiple imaging elements 211, 212 different in exposure are arranged and each one of the multiple imaging elements 211, 212 image a subject by receiving imaging light N1, N2 from the subject; an image synthesis section 221 for synthesizing the images F, S of the subject captured by respective imaging elements 211, 212 and generating a high-dynamic range image G having a dynamic range larger than those of the images F, S of the subject captured by the respective imaging elements 211, 212; and an analysis section 222 for detecting a human eye from the high-dynamic range image G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
