<p>A rivet nail is disclosed for through nailing and riveting on the back side of work pieces to be assembled. The nail has a rhombic slit in its shank, adjacent the pointed end. The slit has a length at least three times the diameter of the shank and no greater than four times the length of the unslit pointed end of the nail.</p> |
