<p>Welding pincer of variable capacity consists of a pincer body formed of two electrode-bearing arms, male and female, operated by pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders. Specifically each arm has in its pivoting region several boreholes arranged in such a manner as to offer a number of different pivoting combinations between the arms according to the desired separation taking account of the working conditions. The design simplifies the multiplicity of arm patterns required reducing the amt. of storage for exchange pieces, and the no. of moulds required in the foundry for casting various patterns of electrode arms.</p> |
