<p>The doubly hooked lashing strap incorporates a manual tensioning lever (5), to secure trollies to the side wall (3) of a container lorry. The trollies have posts at each corner of a rectangular castor-mounted base. These form movable shelving. They are secured in a line along a stowage rail (4). A strap secures the adjacent edges of two trollies, one end fixed to the wall by an eyelet (15) passed over a rail (4) lug (10). The other end (18) secures the two outer trolley posts by two outwardly and counter orientated hooks (11,12). Each strap comprises a fixed (13) and an adjustable (14) length connected by a buckle (17) and a lever-slide fitting (5). A stitched end fold forms a strap eyelet (18) which locates the two hooks (11,12) on the adjustable length (14). The latter are set by sliding and then tensioned by the lever (5).</p> |
