PURPOSE:To make it easy to make sure of special postage by providing the method of adding preset special postage to basic postage and then by displaying on a display unit the total postage calculated by this adding method. CONSTITUTION:The postage processing system consists of metering part 1 which weighs mail and outputs weight data, postage calculation part 2 equipped with keyboard 6 by which the method of conveying is selectively set and the 2nd display unit 5, and voucher issuing machine 3 provided with display unit 7 displaying transporting expense, voucher issuing outlet 9 and drawer 10. This postage calculation part 2 is provided with a memory unit in which special charges such as an extra charge, declared charge, additional delivery charge, and reception information charge are preset, and the method of adding a basic transporting charge, calculated by selecting metering part 1 and the method of transporting, to those set special charges. Then, added special charges are displayed on the 1st display unit 4 provided to metering part 1, display part 5 of charge calculation part 2 and display part 7 of voucher issuing machine 3, thereby making it easy to make sure of the special transporting charge. |
