<p>The side wall (3) of the item of luggage, for example a case, has a projecting part (10). Said part (10) forms together with the side wall (3) a groove (9) which is received in the lower part of a triangular frame (6) of the luggage carrier. The projecting part (10) has a plate (11) with an opening (28), engaging in which, in order to bring the frame (6) into a locking position with the item of luggage, is a pin (15) of a catch (14) fastened to the frame (6).
