PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object conveyance mechanism characterized in a structure where an object or a vehicle is conveyed, and a vehicle parking system.SOLUTION: The object conveyance mechanism comprises a fixed-side guide mechanism which is a mechanism for guiding a pallet in a freely movable manner and a pallet moving mechanism for moving the pallet, in place of a conventional object conveyance mechanism. The pallet moving mechanism includes: a rotary roller which is rotatable while having an outer peripheral surface which includes a rotary roller contact and rolls along a rotary roller virtual tangent extending in a horizontal direction; and a turning-type rotary roller mechanism including a rotary roller supporting mechanism which supports the rotary roller so as to freely swing around a swing vertical axis, and a rotary roller driving mechanism. The swing vertical axis and the rotary roller contact are separated just by a predetermined distance D in a view from the upside, and the rotary roller driving mechanism rolls the rotary roller in contact with the rolling surface through rotational drive and shifts an attitude of the rotary roller between a horizontal feed attitude and a vertical feed attitude. |
